Sherif Gerges

Managing Partner and Head of Litigation

Partner and founder of the firm, a UAE qualified lawyer with the right of audience before the UAE Courts. Saad has over 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer in various types of commercial, real estate, construction, labor and criminal disputes, in addition to substantial knowledge in alternative dispute resolution processes.

Represents the interests of both individuals and businesses in the preparation, settlement, and trial of claims and provides legal assistance and advisory during litigation and negotiation.

Managing Partner and Head of Litigation, a multi-experienced legal counsel with over 32 years of experience in private practice and the judicial branch. Sherif spent 14 years as a Judge / Head of court in Alexandria/Egypt. Before that, he was a Senior Public Prosecutor which enhanced his knowledge and experience in different aspects of the law. Sherif moved to Dubai 2004 and worked as a Senior Legal Counsel for seven years at two of the most prestigious local law firms in the region.

He joined Saad Al Hammadi Advocates & Legal Consultants in 2011 as a Managing partner and built up the firm’s distinguished and prominent reputation as one of the leading local firms with a focus on litigation.

Mohamed Rouchdi has been practicing law, mainly litigation, for more than 28 years now. Mohamed Rouchdi is presently registered before the Egyptian Supreme Court. Mohamed Rouchdi started as a Maritime Lawyer in Egypt/Alexandria and has practiced the Maritime Law for 10 years.

Mohamed Rouchdi moved in 2004 to the UAE/Dubai and has since been practicing law as a legal consultant. Mohamed Rouchdi’s areas of practice are: Arbitration (English/Arabic); Property (Real Estate) Disputes; Employment; Construction and Engineering Disputes; Banking and Maritime Law
