Saad Al Hammadi Advocates & Legal Consultants is a Dubai-based law firm with over 25 years of experience in the UAE.
Our practice is centred around dispute resolution, and we represent clients before all litigation levels of the onshore and offshore UAE courts. We also have extensive experience in arbitration and often manage the entire process, from representing clients during the proceedings to handling the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards before the UAE courts, including all steps required for certification and execution.
We work across a broad range of sectors, including civil, commercial, contractual, and real estate matters. Our team is multilingual and experienced in both onshore and free zone jurisdictions, including DIFC and ADGM, and our senior lawyers bring more than 25 years of legal experience.
Our managing partner is a former prosecutor and judge with 15 years of judicial experience handling major criminal and civil cases, followed by over 20 years as a practising lawyer in Dubai, representing clients across multiple jurisdictions. He is also a listed arbitrator with DIAC and licensed to appear before the DIFC Courts, which enables us to provide comprehensive representation across the UAE’s hybrid legal framework.
Our team has extensive experience in real estate and construction disputes, lease enforcement, FIDIC-based contracts, and regulatory compliance before entities such as the Dubai Land Department (DLD), RERA, and the Rental Disputes Center (RDC). We also advise clients on matters involving development regulations, joint ownership properties, brokerage issues, and sale and purchase disputes.
We provide legal services in Arabic, English, and French, ensuring accessibility and clarity for our diverse client base. Whether the matter involves a domestic dispute or a foreign contract governed by UAE law, we aim to provide practical and timely support to our clients. Our Partners
Partner and founder of the firm, a UAE qualified lawyer with the right of audience before the UAE Courts. Saad has over 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer in various types of commercial, real estate, construction, labor and criminal disputes, in addition to substantial knowledge in alternative dispute resolution processes.
Represents the interests of both individuals and businesses in the preparation, settlement, and trial of claims and provides legal assistance and advisory during litigation and negotiation.
Sherif is the Managing Partner and Head of Litigation, bringing over thirty-two years of combined experience in private practice and the judiciary. He served for fourteen years as a Judge and Head of Court in Alexandria, Egypt following his work as a Senior Public Prosecutor, which provided him with extensive exposure to major criminal and civil matters. Sherif moved to Dubai in 2004 and spent seven years as a Senior Legal Counsel at two prominent regional law firms. He has over twenty years of experience as a practising lawyer in Dubai, representing clients across multiple jurisdictions, and is a listed arbitrator with DIAC and licensed to appear before the DIFC Courts. Sherif joined Saad Al Hammadi Advocates & Legal Consultants in 2011 as Managing Partner, where he has led the firm’s development into one of the UAE’s leading local practices with a strong focus on litigation. He is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association and the Legal Affairs Department of the Government of Dubai.
