Sherif is the Managing Partner and Head of Litigation, bringing over thirty-two years of combined experience in private practice and the judiciary. He served for fourteen years as a Judge and Head of Court in Alexandria, Egypt following his work as a Senior Public Prosecutor, which provided him with extensive exposure to major criminal and civil matters. Sherif moved to Dubai in 2004 and spent seven years as a Senior Legal Counsel at two prominent regional law firms. He has over twenty years of experience as a practising lawyer in Dubai, representing clients across multiple jurisdictions, and is a listed arbitrator with DIAC and licensed to appear before the DIFC Courts. Sherif joined Saad Al Hammadi Advocates & Legal Consultants in 2011 as Managing Partner, where he has led the firm’s development into one of the UAE’s leading local practices with a strong focus on litigation. He is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association and the Legal Affairs Department of the Government of Dubai.
