Sherif spent 14 years as a Judge / Head of court in Alexandria/Egypt.

Before that, he was a Senior Public Prosecutor which enhanced his knowledge and experience in different aspects of the law.

Sherif moved to Dubai 2004 and worked as a Senior Legal Counsel for seven years at two of the most prestigious local law forms in the region.

He joined Saad Al Hammadi Advocates & Legal Consultants in 2011 as a Managing partner and built up the firm’s distinguished and prominent reputation as one of the leading local firms with a focus on litigation.

Sherif has substantial experience in complex litigious matters involving a wide range of commercial, maritime, insurance, real estate, construction, banking and finance, intellectual property, labor and criminal disputes. Sherif is an established arbitrator and mediator.

He is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association (1990), and listed as a sole arbitrator in the Dubai International Arbitration Center (May 2016).
